Admission Requirements

- Completed secondary education with a diploma
- Minimum 62% achievement in Biology and Chemistry
- Good command of English (for the English-language program)
- Valid passport
- Clean criminal record (for visa purposes)
- Good health status
Meeting these requirements makes you eligible to apply, but admission is competitive and based on entrance examination results and available places.
Admission Process
Our streamlined 9-step process makes your journey to Medical University Pleven simple and stress-free.
1. Initial Contact
Contact Professional Academy Ventures to begin your academic journey. Our team will provide initial guidance and information about the program.
2. Document Submission
Submit required documents, including a diploma confirming successful completion of secondary education, demonstrating an achievement of at least 62% in Biology and Chemistry.
3. Information Package
Receive the corresponding documents package and up-to-date information on your next steps from our team.
4. Application Form
Fill out your University application form with guidance from a PAV coordinator to ensure all information is accurate and complete.
5. Secure Your Place
Upon verification of grades, transfer 50% of the administration fee to secure your place.
6. Exam Registration
Choose a date for your entrance exam (June/July) and pay the registration fee.
7. Exam Preparation
Receive instructions and prepare for your exam with support from your PAV coordinator.
8. Final Fee Payment
After successful admission, transfer the remaining 50% of the administration and progression fee to complete the process.
9. Acceptance & Documentation
Receive your acceptance letter and send all required documents by mail. These must be translated and legalized, with the translation notarized.
Important Note
A document for recognition (equating) of the secondary education to the Bulgarian system can be submitted either before or after the exam – but no later than the end of November for EU citizens

Entrance Examination
The entrance examination for Medical University Pleven is a crucial part of the admission process. Here’s what you need to know:

The entrance exam consists of tests in Biology and Chemistry, focusing on topics relevant to medical studies. The examination is conducted in English for the English-language program.
